Knowledge
Tracking System (KTS) Specifications:

 The
Knowledge Tracking System (KTS) is a learning management system capable of
tracking and reporting progress of each employee on each course. In
addition the KTS provides a single point of entry to the Knowledge-Forge
applications.
USER INTERFACE
The KTS provides a single point of entry for the Knowledge-Forge
applications. All Users will have access to the following features:

View individual's list of available courses

View individual's training curriculum status

Set User preferences (auido, etc.)
MANAGER REPORTS
In addition to standard user features, users with manager
priviledges can access the following reports:

Each report can be launched from the "Quick Launch" menu using a
default set of criteria. Additionally a manager can select a specific
range or data (i.e. by department or by course) and sorted by a number of
fields (i.e. department, user, course)

SYSTEM LEVEL FEATURES

Email notification: The system will generate "reminder emails"
to users notifying them of certifications that will expire within a preset
number of days. If no action is taken a follow-up reminder is sent with a
copy to the user's manager.

ODBC Compliant Database: The
Knowledge-Forge Knowledge Tracking System will accept input from most
third-party training programs and even allows manual input for seminars,
informal coaching, and hands-on practice situations that must be tracked.
Database is compatible with a variety of third party tools.
