When purchasing a standard K-Book course from our library you can select the option to have the K-Book tailored to your specifications to make its content more compelling and personalized as well as to comply with your unique SOPs.

Tailoring a course from our Healthcare Library allows you to start with a professionally developed e-Learning, course based on proven content, and then customize it to your institution’s requirements.  The result is a customized, high-quality e-learning experience for a fraction of the cost of custom course development.

There are two levels of tailoring available: Express and Comprehensive. 

Express Tailoring ($300)
Express Tailoring is a quick and inexpensive way to personalize a course from our healthcare library and make it unique for your institution.

In addition to logo branding of your K-Book course, express tailoring allows you to replace the photo images in the K-Book with images of your people, equipment, and facilities.  You may also replace attached files, such as generic forms or processes, with PDF copies of the actual forms used in your facility.  You may change or remove up to five pages of content, as long as the changes do not require adding more pages.  This allows you to address most situations in which points of content may contradict your SOPs.

We will supply you with an Express Tailoring process guide, model release forms and image size and format requirements to make your images work within the K-Book.  Upon receipt of your tailoring packet, Knowledge-Forge will promptly incorporate any edits, images, logos and attachments and make the tailored course available for your review.  You may not edit animation or video sequences or increase the number of images and attached files. You may not add pages, but you can delete them.

Comprehensive Tailoring ($1,000)
Comprehensive Tailoring allows you to expand upon a course from our healthcare library, adding or altering content, increasing detail or changing focus in desired areas.

We supply you with a printed hard copy of the K-Book you have purchased. Using that as a "baseline" version you can “red-line” the text and indicate changes to text, images, or attached files in order to comply with your company's specific Policies, Processes, and Procedures. This along with your photos and logo branding results in a customized course that is based on proven content!  There is no less expensive way to acquire customized e-Learning!

When you purchase Comprehensive Tailoring for your K-Book course, Knowledge-Forge will make the modifications listed below, per your instruction.

• Add, edit, delete or replace up to 20 pages of text, with up to 120 words and 1 picture per page
• Replace any image (not including videos or animations)
• Add or substitute up to 2 videos supplied by you meeting our production specifications
• Add, edit or replace up to 20 questions
• Add, edit or replace up to 20 glossary entries
• Audio voice-over will be re-recorded for changed pages

The tailoring process is designed to be simple and to get your tailored K-Book online as quickly as possible.

1. Knowledge-Forge will setup a customer specific "tailoring environment" that your content expert can use to view the course.  We will also provide a set of step-by-step tailoring instructions.
2. Working from the online version of the course, you mark any content changes on the hard-copy listing for the course and return it to us.
3. Knowledge-Forge will integrate the changes and post an updated version of the course in your tailoring environment for your review and approval.
4. After final corrections are made and the course approved, we will finalize the course and make it available in the format in which it was ordered.

• Additional content pages, test questions and voice-over  ($150 per hour, minimum 1 hour)
• Extra videos digitized, edited and compressed from customer source video  ($ 150/ hr, minimum 1 hour)
• Multimedia style video production and digital photography production ($ 150/ hr, minimum 1 hour)
• On-site video production and digital photography production  ($ $1,200 Day plus expenses, editing @ 150/hour)

Typographical, clerical, grammatical and other content corrections to standard course content will be corrected by Knowledge-Forge at no additional charge.  Knowledge-Forge reserves the right to determine validity and resolution of such issues.
